On Friday, December 18th, the Poly Green Schools Campaign met with Board Member Megan Kerr to introduce the initiative to transition LBUSD to 100% renewable energy. We are excited the say that Megan Kerr has expressed interest in our project and will be sharing it with LBUSD Superintendent Dr. Jill Baker and Business Service Administrator Alan Reising. Kerr also discussed practical concerns regarding funding for a transition to 100% renewable energy along with the district's concerns already being held up by the pandemic and distance learning. We are excited to be in contact with Board Member Kerr and look forward to checking in after the Winter Break!
