Please make sure to check out the pdf (which contains hyperlinks) to find out the best way for you to get involved. We can use the support of everyone! From students, teachers, parents, and LBUSD staff, to residents of our community, we would love to have you join our movement!
Attend our Monthly Monday Meetings!
This is the single most effective way to get involved in the initiative. Our team meets every first Monday of the month from 7-8 pm and all are welcome to attend! We encourage you and your children to attend to learn more about our initiative and upcoming events!

Connect to your school's Green Schools Campaign Representative
Certain schools already have a group of teachers, parents, students, etc. working to transition LBUSD off of fossil fuels. If you are from Polytechnic, Millikan, Lakewood, CAMS, Rogers, Hughes, Helen Keller, or IVA, please check out the GSC Contact Sheet.
Start a Club
For students and teachers from schools not currently represented in the campaign, we encourage you to start a Green Schools Campaign club at your school. One of the biggest goals of this campaign is to show the district that we are a group of climate activists from all corners of the district who believe it is crucial to transition to clean energy options. Please check out the Steps to Create a Club and feel free to reach out to us with questions!
Sign our Petition
Show your support for the Long Beach Green Schools Campaign by signing the petition to encourage LBUSD Board Members to pass a 100% Clean Energy Resolution. Help us reach a goal of 1,500 signatures!
